spn_j2_xmas. I REFUSE. I have fifteen hundred words, too, and while it's only half the story (or, well, half this story, I think I'm spawning a mega AU), I have an extension. It should be smooth sailing.
Except the character I've been following hasn't said but twenty words in the course of the fic, or been the addressee of more than that. That includes both talking to NPCs (various cashiers) and a conversation with a PC ([redacted]), the latter lifted straight from canon. I do not feel the need to put in either conversation verbatim. So my fifteen hundred words has no dialogue.
The next paragraph, and a bunch of the immediately following paragraphs, must be dialogue.
Dear characters: Use your words. I know you have them.
