I r EXPERT FUCKING PROCRASTINATOR

I have just spent an hour writing about a thousand words of worldbuilding for what is supposed to be a short story for Queer Studies final portfolio. This story needs to be written, edited (AHAHAHAHA), illustrated, at least partially audio-recorded, and presented in under twenty-five hours, which timespan needs to include (in some order, not this one) work, commute, shower, food, and sleep. The story itself remains at the 681 words and one scene it was at a couple hours before I left for work Tuesday.

I also, in the same under-twenty-five-hour timeframe, need to write a 750-1000-word essay for Ethnic Studies. Current word count: nil.

I am doomed.

It is three-thirty. I am setting my phone alarms for eight-thirty; given my typical falling-asleep time, that gives me just about four and a half hours of sleep, and then seven hours to Do This Shit before I have to leave for work, and two and a half hours between getting home and having to turn this shit in. And if I'm really lucky I'll be able to get a little bit accomplished in between bits of paid employment. (This is unlikely, given that it's gonna be my turn to do Them Fuckers. But it is not wholly impossible.)

I have no idea what I'm illustrating, and only a vague idea of what I'm recording, for the non-textual mediums required for the Queer Studies portfolio. The presentation of same is gonna be shit, if it actually happens.

Word count on Ethnic Studies essay: still nil.

I'm not gonna get both of these finals done in time. (No extensions allowed.)

Essay DONE and turned in. Hallelujah. Now I just need to finish the story and the illustration and the audio recording and the presentation, all in the next fourteen hours, of which eight must be spent at work.

Audio recording DONE. (Also transcript. Actually that isn't the word, because I didn't transcribe the audio so much as read the text aloud.) Still need to finish story and do illustration and presentation.

Twelve hours forty-five minutes.

Illustration FINISHED. Still have to do the presentation and as much work on the story as I can manage.

Just under twelve hours. Which effectively means two and a half, since that's what I'll have when I get home from work.
