I dunno how to copy-paste on my Kindle Fire but EXCITING THING: they've figured out a way to read scrolls from Herculaneum that got toasted in the Mt. Vesuvius eruption that took out Pompeii. They haven't actually read much yet, but we might be only a few weeks from new-to-us ancient art to admire!

I hope there's Sappho in that stash. That would be amazing.
