apparently what I was doing wrong was I had to set up the modem before I could set up the router

(ugh, now I need to collect all the trash in this corner and set up the router, in some order, and I am still feeling ill so these may be the last things I do before heading back to the house)

There, router set up, editing from Kindle to prove the wireless works, hurrah!

* 4.5 hours overtime
* several boxes moved to apartment
* shower curtain acquired and hung
* a couple other decoratey things acquired (including a cute little blue vase with distinctly Greek motifs)
* Brita pitcher acquired, run through the first three pitchersful (the ones that the new-filter instructions say 'discard or use for plants'), filled, and stored in fridge
* modem and router set up

But I managed somehow not to drink anything for a multiple-hour period (ordinarily I go through in an hour ~1/2 the 23-oz water bottle that goes everywhere with me) and I have not done anything about laundry and I have no earthly idea what dinner is. Maybe I'll order pizza. I hear that's traditional. But that is spendy and also, because I am dehydrated and was feeling miserable before that, probably a horrible idea...

So basically the rest of my day is going to be me sitting alone in my parents' house rehydrating and being useless.

I want to write something for crowdfunding Creative Jam. capri0mni's mirror prompt. I do not know what I want to write, and I'm still dehydrated and miserable.

Did order pizza, though, so at least food will appear soon?
