Silly question du jour. WHY THE FUCK DO LIBRARIES RESTRICT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE WHO CAN READ AN EBOOK AT ONCE. It's an ebook. It is not subject to the physical restriction of "if Abby has it out of the library, Bob cannot take it off the shelf"!

(yes yes publisher restrictions PTUI.)

Next silly question. Why isn't this professor making downloadable PDFs of a hardcopy of this book so that we can read our class assignments without getting "Sorry, this ebook is in use"?

I'm sure I had a reason for buying fresh blackberries yesterday. What was it? And what do I do with them now? *googles*

ETA: actually blackberry cobbler sounds like a fantastic idea. That's easy enough to render gluten-free, right? (Just steal GF flour from my parents.) And then I could make tasty noms for my coworkers! (One of whom is gluten-free.)
