how 'bout we attribute this properly from here on :)

Fun fact of the day! The line They tried to bury us; they didn't know we were seeds that I think probably we've all heard phrased basically so and attributed as a Mexican proverb?

It's a misquote or else a different English translation of a queer Greek poet writing in the 1970s, name of Dinos Christianopoulos.

What didn't you do to bury me? But you forgot that I was a seed. Dinos Christianopoulos

[community profile] crowdfunding Creative Jam is GRAND fun. come and play!

[personal profile] ellenmillion's prompt "A twisting path" inspired my poem "Wind the Labyrinth", about identity as seen through the lens of Greek myth; 30 lines. Sponsor it for public view for $30, or become a patron of my Patreon to read "Wind the Labyrinth" for as little as $1 per poem.

Come play in the Creative Jam! If you create, there are prompts waiting; whether you create or not, please do leave prompts for creators! This month's theme is "Twists".
