I haven't written a single word yet today, I'm going to keep this page open hoping that I'll have something to report in the next couple hours...

Wrote a couple alibi sentences... hopefully tomorrow will be more productive.

I've managed to poke at a couple projects, so no alibi sentences whew, and I've come up with a name for Kagami's mother! It might well get thoroughly jossed when more of season 3 drops, but I'm running with it for now.

Visual question for you. Sass is primarily green, yes? Darn not being able to see the screen thing...

Yes (no spoilers; more detailed description than I would think to give), though I'm not sure I agree on sea green? Looks more gray-green to me, for whatever good that does you. Anyway, yes, green.

I've got a general idea of colors, so grey-green vs sea green does mean at least something. *considers* Thank you for both the link and the clue-in about no spoilers! I confess, I clicked on Duusu's link from Sass's page after reading Sass's info, saw the major spoilers warning at the top (thank goodness), and bounced riiiight the heck back out. AHHHH whew! *whimpers* I both want to know and reeeeally don't...? What I really want is my headcanon to be accurate, which it surely won't be. So.

Kagami's mother is getting named Tsurugi Ume. Thank you, name meaning sites. Ume means Japanese apricot or plum, and is also viewed as a ward against evil.

??? tell the anxiety brainweasel to fuck off. This is fandom. Obsessive is a net plus in terms of fannish output. Weird is unremarkable. :)

WAIT SHIT. Ladybug already tried tangling Hawkmoth in her yo-yo cord, didn't she? Did he just evade or escape? Or has he actually employed his sword cane to render the yo-yo useless? I definitely want it onscreen, and noted by onlookers, that it is a sword cane, before the bit where it's really important (1) it is long, pointy, and very sharp (2) Ladybug and Chat Noir didn't know it's anything but a walking stick. But I also need the yo-yo operational about two seconds before that moment, and I'm not a fan of Ladybug ditching the scene earlier to detransform, recharge, and return with freshly intact weapon...

Also I did some important editing tweaks on "thirsty in the desert".

10th: a lot of fannish admin, plus 92 words on the flashfic. Hopefully some more flashfic words later on today.

We had a day o' fun planned, so I wrote before we went out and added 1256 to the ambush project.

What I want from current project is for it to hurry up and finish itself. Right now, it's the narrative equivalent of my mother leaving a friend's house when I was a kid, already bundled up in a winter coat, hat, and mittens, sweating to a slow death because she and the friend were exchanging, "Oh, and before I/you go, did you hear abouts...?" *sighs*

Yay words!

I got 680 words on a new scene for a finished novel. I hate how chapter one is so I'm trying to fix it before the end of the month because I want to have it in hand at the con.

I also edited the climax of one of the novella's subplots. I didn't add much in the way of words but now the document is ready for one more going over before submission.

my other goals at the moment are two finish the two christmas stories before deadlines

and then get upset over less-than-pristine carpeting?

Darth Vader Mom threw dishes in the kitchen, left shards on the floor, and now Twistie's daughter is having an anxiety attack because what if she bleeds on the carpet. (The carpet and not getting in trouble with DVM being more important than 911.)

I have scene two certainly in the works, and I wrote the first lines of scene three. And there's still this other scene, which has like a big bombshell revelation in it, and so I need to figure out where it goes, but I figure it'll wait until I get there.

Today's writing did not go well. Just another couple of alibi sentences, added to the Alibi Sentence Story in progress.

This is a very weird way to write a story...

On Day 9 I lazily wrote and posted a tiny ficlet which got comments overnight despite only being like 200 words. I love my fandom.
