From when I got my wisdom teeth out, I remember going in, talking to them while they were putting anesthesia needle in my vein, then being walked out to the car. And then sitting on the couch and going in and out of consciousness with the TV on. Therefore I second the advisable sweatpants for sleeping the rest of the day.
