I HAVE MY OWN INTERNET. ON MY OWN COMPUTER IN MY OWN ROOM.

Well, in the basement, but hardly anyone will bother me down here.

Now I just need an Ubuntu program that navigates DVD menus and some way to convince the computer that this is in fact a widescreen monitor and I'm golden.

System> preferences> Monitors to check ubuntu + widescreen, and yeah, vlc works in ubuntu
