I do not know why I am reading a book about decorating small spaces. It is not as though I can afford decoratey things.
I just wanna point and laugh a bit at the advice for "How to Style and Arrange Items in a Wall Unit". To wit: "Do not put books on every shelf". Like. Who has that few books compared to their bookshelf space?
Okay, yes, the pics of shelf space arranged as the author would have one arrange them do look better than my shelf spaces of books books books. BUT STILL.
Also, her approach to decluttering is weeeird. "If you had twenty minutes to evacuate your home, what would you take?" Not my desktop computer! Not most of my books! But those are important. Just not readily portable.
And yet I have now finished the book...
(I have art, I just need to get it up on the currently bare walls. That and cleaning properly so's my stuff isn't all over the floor should be all the decoratey I need, right?)
