Experiment du jour: a tablespoon of sugar, a tablespoon of olive oil, a couple drops of vanilla extract, mix and apply as facial scrub. (From Julie Gabriel's The Green Beauty Guide.) Seems to be effective so far, but then I only used it half an hour ago.
