snowflake_challenge time!In your own space, talk about why you're participating in Snowflake and, if you’ve participated in the past, how the challenge has affected you. What drew you to it? What did you take away from it? What do you hope to accomplish this year?
Snowflake is an opportunity to connect with other fans. I have participated several years and I think I have consistently come away with at least one new friendly acquaintance. Snowflake is also an opportunity to be fannish in a way I have lately been finding difficult. I look forward to the inevitable "make a fanwork" challenge and the inevitable "comment on a fanwork" challenge, though re the first I haven't the faintest what I'll do!
