Assuming price is the most important determinant(factor) impacting both concepts —direct quote from the discussion board for my economics class. (Posting on said board is homework. This is a new and different experience.) I posted earlier, saying I wasn't so sure of the validity of the assumption. Professor emailed me saying it's not an assumption, it's a proven fact.

Um, Professor? Look at that quote. You wrote that quote. You said it's an assumption. Don't bitch at me for taking you at your word.
