Okay. Going off to write a little speech to practice until I'm sure I can say it all without talking too fast or slurring or any of the multitudinous things I do that make it not really worth using my voice especially over the phone, and then calling my senators and representative. (ETA: chickened out of the phone bit and can't find a text-based contact form for my rep, but have sent the text of my notspeech to both my senators.)
