You know it's been a bad day when the thought you keep having is 'if the Mayan apocalypse happens on schedule, I don't have to come back to work'.
(When we were horribly behind a month ago, where by 'behind' I mean the oldest thing in the queue was two weeks old and overtime is available anytime the oldest thing in the queue is one week old, there were thirty-three hundred things in the queue. When day shift started arriving this morning, there were eleven thousand four hundred. Sixteen hours of hard work later when night shift left, there were twelve thousand seven hundred.)
