Stupid question. Michael said Adam wasn't there, right before Adam's body with Michael in it went in the Cage. Death said Adam was in the Cage with Sam.

We've all, I think, been assuming Death wasn't lying. What if he was, and Michael was telling the truth? It would explain Sam's total post-Cage unconcern with Adam.
