An irritating thing about not sleeping enough is then not having spoons to do things. Like, I'm supposed to have read pages 65 to 115 of the WGSS assigned reading book by now. I haven't been able to get it together enough to read past page 65. I can tell you what's on page 65—mostly an anecdote about a student complaining that her English class never had black authors, and the English teacher saying it wasn't his fault blacks don't write books; yes, this week's readings are all from the section headed "Racism"—but that's fuck-all use for discussing page 89, you know?

And I'm supposed to have been actively involved in the week's discussion board for days, having first read the readings. The discussion board assignment was due yesterday. :(

Let's not even mention my German progress! :D :D

Reduce, Reuse, Upcycle
Make candle holders from a recycled book. The Library's books are well loved and sometimes become too damaged to read. Rather than throw these items away we'll re-purpose and upcycle them by making them into lovely unique candle holders! Registration is required.
