my laptop is functioning again (this involved a third trip to the computer doctor in a two-day period and the fourth in five days, in order to get a power cord that actually powers the laptop), which I had been intending to lead into a bunch of writing the ideas I had the past couple days and didn't start on because of not wanting to write much on a touchscreen
today's word count jump is largely bullet pointing six of those ideas on as many WsIP, plus sorting out the timeline for it's dangerous to go alone with respect to subsequently aired but chronologically earlier canon. with a side of "oh yeah, the original fic I was noodling at also counts".
