Most of this CSS should be irrelevant to the question (pastebin expires in one month). The HTML at the end of the paste, the first version results in the left half of the below image, and the second version results in the right half, thus proving that the span tags are not doing what I want them to. I don't want the image corners rounded like in the iOS-lookalike example, I just want those images to display only when creator style is on.
(I've been sandboxing with this chapter bc nobody's reading it anyway. Same chapter, no work skin. End objective is, the work when it's viewed with creator style off or in a downloaded copy, thus without the work skin, looks as tidy as the version with no work skin does, without having to do both a with- and without-work-skin version of the work.)
