I love that they didn't even bother to change Rory's name.

I don't know anything about Doctor Who except by osmosis, so. I was aware of a character named Rory, I think? Is he one of the Ponds?

Yep, Rory Williams is married to Amy Pond. The fact that they changed everyone else's names, but not his, really did make me lol. Espcially since I kind of think that Rory is a badass now ... well, ever since this scene in this year's midseason finale.

Now I'm entertaining myself crossing over Supernatural's Amy Pond with Inspector Spacetime.

Someone really must do a crossover with the two Amy Ponds. This is fact.

I firmly believe Supernatural named her that to encourage that very thing. There's 0% chance that not one of the writers watch Doctor Who.

Rory has been a BAMF for at least a season and a half now, and arguably ever since becoming a robotic Roman centurion. It's just not much acknowledged because Amy is equally awesome, has been there longer, and has prettier hair.

The thought had occured to me as well. :)

Oh, Rory. I didn't like him at first, but I've really started to like him ... around the time of the Pandorica. Him punching Hitler ... beyond awesome.
