I hope the account foul-up is just a spasm as they try to patch things (that weren't bust before they started). I have not yet turned off mine - I have three months left, and it links to an expired credit card anyway.

But I have taken advantage of Dreamwidth's welcome to change my OpenID account for a real one! Friends have been migrating for years, but there is still enough there to keep me active, and I'm not a diligent poster anyway, anywhere.
