Okay, how fucking unfair is it that we get one chapter on Renaissance Art of Fifteenth-Century Italy and another chapter on Art of South and Southeast Asia After 1200?

VERY. VERY FUCKING UNFAIR.

I am sick of hearing about the subtle differences between one place and a nearby place and one time and a nearby time within Europe of the fourteenth through seventeenth centuries. (Also about the pure unadulterated Christianity of that era, but that's another issue.) Do the writers of this text seriously think no such subtle distinctions exist in South and Southeast Asia after 1200?
