I occasionally use abbreviations when texting, but I always write things out with e-mail. To be honest, if I'd gotten a phone with a QWERTY keyboard, I probably would use complete English there too. :)

I am indeed boring and stuck up! I also have an excellent command of English spelling and grammar (except for the word professor, spinach, and occasion, regarding which I have a terrible mental block and a spell checker). I will take mastery of English over being deemed interesting by teenagers any day. :D
