Climate change short fiction contest! Prize is $1K plus publication, which can also be read as they're paying the winner $1K for the privilege of publishing the story. (Though some other submissions will also be published or considered for publication in other venues, it says.) Deadline Jan 15, and up to three submissions per author.

I actually don't know much about climate change since that's not in my field of study (or in the science courses I'm taking). I kinda want to look up the peer reviewed articles on it for funsies. Yay for free academic access!
