Twenty pages into Alex Mar's Witches of America; already pissed off. Book returns to library tomorrow because pissed off. I actually hate setting books down in the middle, but.

(I'd read all the reviews that said "spiritual tourism" and other flattering things, and I did not listen to them.)

If you haven't seen it already, I recommend jenett's takedown of the book. Jenett's an observant and well-connected Pagan, who's private about what her tradition actually is but it's some form of Witchcraft. Also a really thoughtful writer.
