Since profit seems to be impossible to strike hard enough to reverberate, that leaves life as the remaining bit. Which is horrible.

I'm sure if a big enough fraction of the population were mobilized/motivated to strike all at once, like Iceland when some huge (I heard 90%) fraction of the women went on strike for gender equality in the law. But that's...not likely.
