...my Yu-Gi-Oh! books seem to have disappeared en masse from my Kindle Fire. (They're still in the cloud, they're just not on my device, and I assure you I did not delete them from the device.) Is there a max on the number of Kindle books one can have on a device, or something? Because if there is, I'ma be annoyed, but if there isn't and the books disappeared anyway, then we might have a problem.

I'm not sure what else is gone. But I am really hesitant to assume nothing else is.

Available memory is a constraint, but even then books shouldn't randomly disappear, it should tell you it doesn't have space to load new stuff.

I know nothing about Kindles of any kind, but http://gizmodo.com/if-you-want-to-keep-using-your-kindle-you-need-to-upda-1766018587 went past me earlier today.
