...my Yu-Gi-Oh! books seem to have disappeared en masse from my Kindle Fire. (They're still in the cloud, they're just not on my device, and I assure you I did not delete them from the device.) Is there a max on the number of Kindle books one can have on a device, or something? Because if there is, I'ma be annoyed, but if there isn't and the books disappeared anyway, then we might have a problem.

I'm not sure what else is gone. But I am really hesitant to assume nothing else is.

Available memory is a constraint, but even then books shouldn't randomly disappear, it should tell you it doesn't have space to load new stuff.

If you have an email address associated with the device then you'll have received emails if you need to do the update.

This... sounds more like Amazon being kind of shit in a possibly DRM-related way, though :-/
