Operation: Cook ALL The Foods is COMPLETE. (Except for the shrimp that were already cooked when they went into the freezer. Those I'm just tossing because I haven't figured out how to make sure they're safe to eat without overcooking them.) Thanks for the shrimp tip, madgastronomer.

Operation: Wash ALL The Dishes is COMPLETE. (Except for the pan in which I baked the chicken breasts. That's gonna soak overnight, because the stuff burned to the bottom is stuck good.)

Mix a little dish soap with baking soda to make a paste --think toothpaste consistency-- and that will help scrub the residue after it's soaked. If you don't have baking soda to hand, plain table salt will work, too.
