Anyone know if there's a way to export one's Firefox and Chrome bookmarks and bookmark bars into files I can then copy to a new install of each browser? *pokes Google* ETA: huh, that is relatively painless

(brother-in-law was absolutely right when he said give it a week before nuking my computer, because I'd think of other things I had to back up)

Yep, pretty painless, actually. And compatible enough with each other than you can import both of them and create a unified bookmark set.
