Hokay SO. Halp.

As previously discussed, my Kindle Fire is At It Again. Last month and now—these are screenshots of me trying to read different legitimately-purchased-from-Amazon Kindle books, and being prevented because "This item is protected with DRM and cannot be read on your Fire. Please remove the item from your device and download it again or purchase a copy from the Kindle Store." Last month and now are two different Kindle Fire HDXes, because I insisted (after three factory resets failed to make the problem go away) that they replace my device. And the problem spans multiple users as well as multiple devices.

(The Kindle app on my phone hasn't had this problem, but my phone screen is, uh. Small. Not best suited for reading on. I do not know about the other two Kindle Fires I've somehow collected, but I can't put my hands on either of them anyway, and one has a problem I forget that is why I bought the HDX in the first place and the other can't read my manga ebooks and they both have rather less storage space than the HDX.)

What do I want Amazon to do about this? Because I want to read my fucking ebooks on my fucking tablet, but I don't want to buy another fucking tablet, and things that we have proven do not work include "replacing the device" and things that we have proven Amazon incompetent at include "fixing the problem".

ETA: Scratch all that, I figured it out. I will ask Amazon what they're planning to do to make me a happy customer again.

That sounds like a plan. Here's hoping they figure it out.
