Well, you could find a partner and sign up as a group in a few days, or you
could find a partner with whom to do a party favor instead of signing up at
all, and then matching is less of a concern. Luck, though :)
I was thinking to write. I've never tried reading something for recording, and I think that, if I were to try, I would want it to be the equivalent of drawerfic until I had some serious practice under my belt.
Did you have fandoms in mind? Or genre, rating, etc? I'm willing to try writing things that I know but am not, strictly speaking, fannish about, and I'm willing to try consuming short canons (a movie or two, a book or two) to see if I think I can write them, but I bounce off a lot of things.
Mainly, I write SF/fantasy fandoms. I write some very, very dark stuff and some stuff that's near to tooth rotting. I can do the former fairly reliably. The latter takes more work, depending on the fandom. I'm the_rck if you want to see some of my stuff. Most of the recent stuff is dark fic in a tiny fandom, but there's stuff that isn't darkfic and that is in better known fandoms.
I have no specific fandoms in mind, but probably nothing that will sound weird in an Australian accent (which might mean nothing too dialogue heavy, because different voices not something I've tried recording, and I'm a bit nervous about the idea). I'm quite happy to go with most fandoms - especially if it is something I can get a feel for relatively quickly. As it is, I've been getting most of my fannish knowledge from fic in recent years due to levels of over-commitment (due to finish Real Soon Now), so would probably need to do a canon review on anything.
SF/fantasy is my comfortable place. My comfort with dark depends on what kind of dark - I can't handle rape/non-con as a general rule, and I suspect that explicit torture is a hard no. I have read and enjoyed some very dark fic though (evil Snape in the Harry Potter fandom; sociopathic John Shephard in Stargate Atlantis), and I do count myself as a horror reader.
I should be busy with study right now, but I've opened your AO3 link to have a look at when I take another break later. (looking at the fandoms there - I can absolutely do Narnia or Amber, and I imagine that there are some really interesting things that can be done with dark fic in both of those, although I haven't read any. I'm probably over Potter dark fic, having kind of overdone that fandom. The other two that show up on the short fandoms list I don't know the source at all).
ETA: oh, rating - I would prefer to avoid PWP. Some sex is fine, but I have found myself bored by sex scenes in recent years, skipping over them to get to the rest of the story, so don't want to read a lot of it.

I'm not sure how matchable I am, though.
