brain, why
things I am tempted to do:
* find instructions for an embroidery sampler (a la ye olden days—for some reason I'm specifically picturing American Girl's Felicity) and get cracking
* frog everything I knitted for the wedding present for my uncles (who, uh, have been married a few years by now) and crochet similar things instead (this'll probably take six hours altogether)
* track down my drop spindle and make with the spinning
* get up go weave on the purple wool bag
things I am not tempted to do:
* work on the bridal shower present for my sister (who, uh, has been married a couple years by now)
* work on the wedding afghan for my sister and brother-in-law (who, uh, same sister)
* work on the dollhouse afghan commission
* work on the ebook conversion
* work on Stagecraft
* work on...literally any project already in progress, actually, bar the purple wool woven bag that the loom is way out in the living room and I'm already in bed
relevant facts:
* it's four forty-five in the goddamn morning
* nope, still not sleepy

common cold from hell
(probably exacerbated by not being quite over the flu yet when I caught the cold)
(pls note: still not over the cold)

So oral steroids are known to exacerbate anxiety and restlessness even at low doses, especially in people with a history of depression...

next time they try to give me it I will say NO louder
(I told the urgent care doc about Prednisone Rage Monster Alex and she dropped the dose she was planning)
