I'm suspicious it's the gabapentin - whenever I reduce my dose of Lyrica (gabapentins sister drug) - I'd get a BIG pain flare up.

well I did find the refill of gabapentin, so

as an intermittent user of meloxicam, I find pain is higher in other bits of my body when i use it for extended periods of time, because the inflammation is actually semi-protective. Stopping it when I was taking it all the time had no noticeable side-effects.

Stopping gabapentin suddenly is a very bad plan. I'd put money on it being that one.

Oh my god, I cold turkeyed off a super high gabapentin dose for a few days when there was surprise problem with my refills and my insurance, and I just sat around whimpering in full body misery for *days*. Muscle spasms that took weeks to entirely settles out. I'm so sorry and good luck.
