things to have in the car upon leaving for writer's group at library Saturday afternoon
(I'm not going to be home until Sunday evening, you see. Sister's stage crewing for a theatrical production which I have to leave for practically the minute I'm out of writer's group, and I'm camping on her dorm floor because I'm not driving two hours on unfamiliar roads in the dark, and then we're going to a square dance an hour farther yet.)
✓ Overnight bag—change of clothes (square dance edition), toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, meds.
✓ Sleeping bag. Pillow. Blanket.
✓ Laptop. Charger. Tablet. Charger. Zip stick.
✓ All the Queer Studies texts.
✓ Printout of directions to [sister's university].
✓ Printout of directions to wherever the hell we're leaving my car when folks meet me on the way from university to dance hall.
✓ Dad's GPS.
* Several cans of seltzer and a few cans of Pepsi.
✓ Toys for Tots things (in three separate bags, because all three are multiparters).
✓ DVD to return to library.
✓ Sailor Moon DVDs on off chance sister desires to watch with me. (nb: unlikely)
✓ Crochet bag with TARDIS scarf and coworker coasters.
Must stop at AC Moore and acquire the dinky art set for swaps, before heading up to library.

(Don't say "story/ies", I haven't had time to read the others'. I thought I'd just come and listen this first time, get a feel for the group. Also, food plan is fast food.)
...crap it's three-thirty. I'm going to have to set an alarm in order to be up on time to pack all the things and get to the library on time. Which guarantees I won't get enough sleep.
