If anyone still has active Yahoo Groups, or stuff they'd like to archive from defunct ones, do that quickly:

Yahoo has made the decision to no longer allow users to upload content to the Yahoo Groups site. Beginning October 21, you won't be able to upload any more content to the site, and as of December 14 all previously posted content on the site will be permanently removed. You'll have until that date to save anything you've uploaded.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't have any content on Yahoo! Groups any more, but my first online RP group was there.

I actually have list-owner status on a couple of groups over there, although one has been essentially silent for several years and the other is very small and has minimal traffic -- and I hadn't heard about this *at all*. (Bad Yahoo!, no biscuit!!)

So I've spent the last hour or so writing hasty admin messages....

I don't think there's anything I would lose on the admin side, but that probably means, if it hasn't already, Subreality would have to move.
