I'm imagining what the reaction would have been if they'd instead dropped Ice Adolescence (or even just the soundtrack) on streaming like a new Taylor Swift album, which apparently also happened last night

there's a rumor that the problem was getting Russian distribution, which, has YOI ever been legally accessible in Russia? even censored?

There's got to be some other reason why a movie that has supposedly been in post-production for five years ends up cancelled instead than distribution to a queerphobic country. I wonder what the actual reason is.
