Becky is Stephanie Ware, and for some inexplicable reason Show is nearly as obsessed with Stephanie as she is with Show. This is the only logical explanation I can come up with.

We do, however, need a Jane Averagefan character stat. If for no other reason than to show Jane Averagefan that Becky is Stephanie Ware, not Jane Averagefan.

Um, who's Stephanie Ware?

That's LOLtastic (and creepy, but seriously?). (And frankly scarier than Becky.)

Demian and Barnes as representing 'normal' and 'healthy' and 'reasonable' fandom. Who are male and queer, and who don't secretly believe that their canon is real prior to the reveal, who become active characters, who find genuine happiness within their fandom and with their ties to other fans, and who don't have problematic relationships with either the creator of their fandom (Chuck) or the objects of their fandom (Sam and Dean) - they may want to pretend to be Sam and Dean for a weekend, but they don't want to objectify Sam and Dean.

i just spent 1250 words talking out why I am Not A Fan of 7.08 and why it left me teeth-grindingly angry. Bah.

Hence my meta on gender and fannishness in spn - which is incredibly irksome, to understate, to see the difference become even more exaggerrated. But, yes, I wouldn't argue that D and B represent fangirls, but I do think that, for Show, they represent Proper Fandom. Which, well.

The post-7.08 is still in draft at the moment. If I end up not posting it, I'll bounce it your way.
