Estimated cost of spring textbooks: $140 for the art history book, $30 for the paralegal ethics book, $30 for the child development book, $20 for the Microsoft Word book, if I'm lucky $0 for the Spanish II book because it's the same as the Spanish I book which I kept, and guessing $100 for the law office management book. So call it $400, to be on the safe side. That's doable. That is very doable. Stop worrying now, Ellie. Seriously. Stop.

rent some? I got the one text i needed this semester from coursesmart.com and it's an online copy that i don't have to worry about sending back, but i can access from anywhere with internet, including my phone, and it was less than a third of the price of the only-new copies they had at the campus bookstore

Also, might check ahead of time that your MS Word class doesn't require you doing the homework (if you have any) in MS Word 2010. The lab people at my school said they required Windows/Mac and 2010, now, because they turn the assignments into the 'net to get graded by a computer.
