"Are you sure?" Jo asks.

"Some monsters are hurt by salt," Ellen says. "Some monsters are hurt by iron. Some monsters are hurt by holy water. And some monsters are hurt by fire." She lights a candle. "Just in case."

"Thank you, Mama," Jo says."

Awww.... I love any story that delves into the fact that Ellen is a hunter, and anything with her being both mother and hunter is pretty much my favourite thing ever. Such a cute moment!
