I'm looking for a video mp3 player that will play my .avi files without them needing to be converted first. Not an iAnything, because if I can't persuade my iTunes to play the one iTunes-exclusive episode I bought... (recommendations for ways to convert that file into something VLC will play would be nice)

Somebody explain to me why I can't buy the Samsung Galaxy 4.0? I have the money. Never mind. Are there cheap video mp3 players that don't require converting my .avi files first, though?

Relatedly, Plunge Magazine, for genre fiction about queer women, is less than $400 from launch with less than three days to fundraise. If you have spare money, pledge a bit to them, please?

All of these should a) have microsd slots for storage to grow, b) read .avi files natively
