Well, my Blu-ray drive works. And I am not buying the PowerDVD Ultra 12 software I downloaded the free trial of in order to prove that the drive works. (Mouse commands do not work on the menus. Pulling up the remote gizmo and clicking its buttons works, but the remote gizmo blocks a big chunk of the window. And it seems to think I want its media library to have all the media I have on my hard drive even though I told it not to, and the only way it gives me to delete something from its library is to delete it from disk.)

But the drive does work. Which is good to know.
