The barely-clothed manflesh in Magic Mike isn't manflesh I'm interested in seeing. If they'd gotten Alexander Skaarsgard and Christian Slater and Samuel L. Jackson in it, I'd want to see it. As it is (I'm looking at the poster): Channing Tatum seems like an okay guy, but he has a head like a cube and bores me deeply. Matthew McConaughey has the most extreme backpfeifengesicht of anyone I can think of besides Dubya. Alex Pettyfer gives off douchecanoe vibes. Matt Bomer and Joe Manganiello, I do not even know who those people are, but looking at the pictures... boring, again.

Normally I need some emotion and plot to go with lust. I do enjoy pictures of hot men, naked and otherwise, but I find none of those men at all sexy. There's no spark, nothing strange and different and interesting.

Joe Manganiello is mainly known for True Blood, which I haven't seen. Also, he and Matt Bomer were college buddies and I want all of the college days RPF now.

I enjoyed Magic Mike, but it was more amusing than arousing. The "plot" was awful IMO, with an actress who was both wooden and not attractive to me, and Tatum and Pettyfer don't appeal to me generally. OTOH it was fun to watch them dance. I was mostly there for Matt Bomer, and I wish his character had been given more of am actual role but again it was fun to watch him dance. And the movie got me interested in Joe Manganiello. IDK I generally prefer for men to keep most of their clothes on because they're prettier that way. I think it was mostly the fun of watching them dance combined with the frankness of selling their sexuality that made me like the movie. But I'm not going to say it was high quality or anything because it wasn't.

Yeah, that's about what I've heard about it.
