100 college things 012

I tried logging in to my Oregon State email, for the first time in many moons. (As you may have gathered from how my last post on this tag was ten months ago and was about enrolling for summer term.) I can't log in. This worries me. I wasn't enrolled in any classes for fall or winter and am not for spring, and I don't want to apply for readmission after missing a fourth term, so I've got to be in something for summer. I only need one class—I can only afford one class—but I've got to be in something, and if my account's been deactivated then that's a problem.

At least it shouldn't be difficult picking which class—Intermediate Macro, Intermediate Micro, and Money and Banking are all (as I recall) on my must-take list, and they're all offered over the summer. So I could spin random.org and be done. Though I think I want Macro first of the three.

I emailed the registrar's office.

I'm pretty sure I can do this, money-wise. I don't know if I can do both this and AdaCamp, but I also haven't heard back from AdaCamp, and I was supposed to within two weeks. It's been eleven days since I got my confirmation that I'm scheduled off AdaCamp days, so there's a day or two more of the two weeks...

...

What I want is a feminist economics 101 textbook, really. Such a thing does not seem to exist, though. So I will go back to my degree plan (which I was due to anyway) and hope I can piece together feminist economics 101 from standard-college-issue economics and Internet-issue feminism.
