WON CAMP NANOWRIMO! 20075 words per the validator engine. 20351 per Scrivener, go fucking figure, I was pissed earlier this morning when I had to write another couple hundred because the 20077-per-Scrivener I validated with turned out to be 19802.

And that second [community profile] queer_fest fic is up to 789, but I'm not sure where to put the additional two hundred words, or what they should be. Some in part one and most in part two is probably best given their word counts as is, but both parts look complete, as does part three, and my structure won't allow a fourth part. Can I have a volunteer from the audience to look over my girl!Sam/Jess fic?

I need to get on watching 8x14-8x19 so I can watch 8x20 for my third queer_fest fic.

Awesome!!!

I'm over 20,000, too. Almost near 25,000. (My original goal was 10K, but I upped it to 15K when I passed 10K early on, then upped it again to 20K when I passed 15K). Good to know about the validator. My word processor counts my asterisk breaks as individual words (* * * * * = 5 words) so I replaced those with the word BREAK to make it less hinky, and that knocked my word count down a bit. For hypenated words, I put a space between them, so hopefully that won't be a confusion (some programs count them as separate words, some as one). I want to see if I can get closer or to 25 K before I validate, though, even though my goal is 20K because I would really like to get halfway to a full NaNoWriMo, if I can.
