Aggravating things: discovering that the wire and seed beads acquired via Christmas are both the wrong size to work with the pattern in the crochet-with-wire book, and also the pattern requires a hook size I do not own. I think I have bought enough crochet hooks for a little while, don't you? But I wanna try crocheting with wire.

I don't know where you live, but is there Stitch n Bitch within reach, where you can swap?

What hook size btw? I keep buying crafts things at yard sales where there are X number of things you want sold with Y things you don't.

I have no idea. I have too much social anxiety and also the wrong work schedule for seeking out groups of like-minded locals. What I'm probably going to do is put the wire and beads aside for some other project and then go to AC Moore or somewhere (or possibly the Internet) and acquire the sizes I need. I haven't quite spent all my Christmas money yet, so I can do that.

The pattern wants an E hook. Smallest I've got is a G.
