So I told
aldersprig I'd do Pirate NaNo with them this month. My goal is 15000 words.
Guess my word count for yesterday. Go on, guess.

Closest yet!
Correct answer: zilch. Because I forgot I was supposed to be writing. I got lots of crafting done and had a lovely time shopping with my sister and made dinner, so it was not an unproductive day, but no words. Unless we count yesterday's poem, which we are not counting because my NaNo rebellion this time around is doing it in January to 15K instead of November to 50K.

Yeah, I know. But I'm also about to leave for work and won't be home (unless I call off sick midworkday again) till the third...

Eh-heh-heh. I'm already at work, with zero words so far, and won't be home after midnight. It's not absolutely impossible to write at work, but it's easier in months with less of a workload...

Truuuue.
I forget where I am in the draft. Prompt me with a thing and I'll write something from elsewhere in the 'verse.

Prompt: The weather suddenly turned ugly.

No worries.
"Are we sure there isn't a weather spirit trying to muck things up around here?" Becca grouched.
There, seventeen words. :) There's more to the scene but I'm not sure what it is other than 'probably is in fact a pissed-off weather spirit involved'.
