Um. Crap.

So I have declared it 'sell all the assigned books from spring term that I don't feel the need to keep' day. Also 'get rid of all the Marion Zimmer Bradley and donate the proceeds (plus the original approximate sum spent on the MZB, counting shipping) to RAINN' day. Tra la la go to Amazon find book go to put book on Amazon Marketplace OH WAIT AMAZON.

Where, other than Amazon Marketplace, do y'all sell your used books?

I didn't know that about abebooks! It seems kind of pointless for them to undersell themselves, but hey.

I have a couple of used bookstores I get a somewhat decent price for. Never tried to sell online before for anything.

Not actually the answer to the question posed, but when you go to get books for summer or fall, you might want to consider renting them from http://www.chegg.com/ ; I've found it a good way to save money.

I usually just donate them somewhere, tbh - I've taken them to local used bookstores before, but usually with stuff like old sff I don't get enough to be worth the gas money to get them there. (And selling online requires to much getting-stuff-done ability out of me.)

--although tbh I think when I dumped my Orson Scott Card books they may have just gone in the recycle bin, because I didn't even want to put them back in circulation.
