Amusingly, Usagi's admiration of Rei and her prettiness is actually manga canon. :D As is, incidentally, Rei's personality (and I understand much better why people see Rei as a favourite since I realised just how much original anime changed her personality).

(I can't remember if the mutual blushytiems with Ami in ep2 is manga canon - but it was cute and distracted me from how weirdly Ami was animated for most of that ep.)
