I think I have a wisdom tooth coming in.
Mom's like "...Tylenol? Whiskey? Wait, you're not really a whiskey person..." Um, thanks, real helpful?

ETA: No whiskey to be found in the house. Even though Mom swears she is still in possession of the bottle her parents gave her when I was first teething. Brandy worked. Did the rinse-and-spit thing and it hurts much less now. Also glugged eight ounces of apple cider, because ye gods brandy is nasty.
I am however no longer sure the problem is actually the tooth. Poking at the sore spot with my tongue leads me to the conclusion that the sore spot is the inside of the cheek above the tooth.
